Sensory Room at iPlay Exeter

Our ocean themed sensory room has bespoke equipment creating a calm and relaxing environment. Listen to the sounds of the ocean, observe the fibre optic light curtain and changing colours in the mesmerising bubble tubes.

Sensory stimulation can help engage different areas of the brain and help develop hand eye coordination. Time in a sensory room helps children improve their visual, auditory and tactile processing, as well as fine and gross motor skills. By providing a sense and comfort, sensory rooms help children learn to self-regulate their behaviours, which ultimately improves focus.

The room is available for Baby and Me sessions (12 months and under) and anyone else that would benefit from the space can book an exclusive hire of the room.
